| Its been a while. Let's see....Finished out last semester by passing biochem, which I thought was good. Got a host of classes this semester, my goal is to stay on top of them and not get behind. Paramedic class is going very well. It is keeping my sanity as far as classes go. Clinical are my favorite part. I love getting out there and actually helping people. I really do believe that this has been a great experiance and that it has really showd me that the medical field is where I want to be when I grow up. Other than that, everything else is going really well. Hope everyone's classes go well and hopefully I will get to update this alittle more and not forget about it. | Ever get the feeling that when you seem to get 1 step ahead you end up 2 steps back???.......yeah | | |
| Lets see.....started out as a nice 4 day week. Had classes all week (went to most of them .) Medic class is about halfway done with the lecture stuff. We are now through Cardiology II and Neurology. Had lab today, as it is the second Saturday, did resp and carddiac practice assesments, kinda fucked mine up but my patient did live to the hospital so that good. I have somewhat of a disadvantage as I have not worked inthe EMS field before, but things are coming along. I would rather screw up in class then in the field with an actual patient. Went out on Firday night, was a pretty good time. Those of you who are not 21 really need to get there and those who are should really come out with us...tis a good time. Anywho....hope the weekend is treating all well. lata | | |
| Useless Joke of the Day........... After tucking their three-year-old child Sammy in for bed one night, his parents heard sobbing coming from his room. Rushing back in, they found him crying hysterically. He managed to tell them that he had swallowed a penny and he was sure he was going to die. No amount of talking helped. His father, in an attempt to calm him down, palmed a penny from his pocket and pretended to pull it from Sammy's ear. Sammy was delighted. In a flash, he snatched it from his father's hand, swallowed it, then cheerfully demanded, "Do it again, Dad!" | | |
